The winery's flagship label, it is made from the best grapes in the area, the result of a very careful vineyard-by-vineyard selection, where only the best grapes are picked to bring out the full potential of Cortine's terroir.

- Grape
- 100% Sangiovese, from a 50-year-old vineyard.
- Soil
- Cortine, municipality of Barberino Tavarnelle. Vineyard altitude: between 300 and 370 m a.s.l.
- Harvest
- First ten days of October, harvested entirely by hand.
- Winemaking
- In cement tanks, after 2 days of cold pre-maceration, fermentation with native yeasts and long macerations of about 20/23 days. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
- Aging
- 24 months in French oak barriques, a further 6 months in bottle.

- 15% vol
- Tasting notes
- Intense ruby red in colour with garnet hues, of almost impenetrable depth. The nose offers an olfactory succession dominated by ripe black-berried fruit such as blackcurrant and black cherry, spicy and woody (boisé) notes, plus a pleasant, clear toasted note. On the palate it is structured, balanced and enveloping, slightly savoury, with an important tannic texture and a finish that remains fresh, revealing great acidity.
