Made from Canaiolo and Sangiovese grapes, in varying proportions depending on the vintage and the quality level of the grapes, it is a wine that was created in an attempt to meet the demands of a market that has brought rosé wines back into vogue, rightly rediscovered and elevated to products of excellence.

Harvest

Late August - early September, hand-picked.

Winemaking

Short macerations at controlled temperature. The subsequent low-temperature fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.

Aging

Aged in the same type of wine vessels but smaller in size for 6 months, before being bottled to complete its refinement in the bottle.

Tasting notes

Claret pink in colour; the nose offers a fresh fruity and vegetal bouquet, with hints of strawberry, raspberry and green pepper. On the palate it is savoury, with an acidity between fresh and lively-fresh.

Pairings

Seafood appetizers and first courses, sushi and crudités, pizza, vegetables, fresh stringy or soft cheeses.
